Our first contact will be your complimentary 20-minute phone consultation in which we cover what you’re hoping to work on and any questions you may have. You can schedule that here right on my website. After that, we will schedule a regular time to meet for our teletherapy sessions, just as if they were in-person sessions. You can also request appointments from your secure client portal, which I will provide a link to after we first talk.
+ What is teletherapy?
Teletherapy uses technology to conduct sessions online instead of face-to-face. This allows me to offer more flexible appointment times and continue uninterrupted counseling throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
+ Do you offer face-to-face sessions?
At this time, I cannot offer face-to-face sessions. However, I hope to have this option available in the future and will update my website when this changes.
+ How does it work?
I use a HIPAA-compliant video chat that you can access through your client portal. Our sessions are confidential and secure. There is nobody else present when I meet with you.
+ What do I need?
All you need is a computer with a camera and microphone or a smartphone, a strong w-fi signal, and a safe, private well-lit space to conduct your session. Please find a quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking freely, will not be disrupted, and will be easy to see and hear.
+ Is your practice inclusive?
Yes, my practice is a completely open, inclusive and safe space for people of all identities. I fully support the BIPOC and LGBT+ communities. I actively work to better educate myself on issues of systemic oppression and white privilege to better address the complexities of my clients’ mental health.
